Today
+

Twelve weeks, five workstreams, the critical path in solid blue and a today line.

How it works

  1. List the work

Type tasks, or paste them from a doc or a project tool. Group them into phases and EverAsk nests them under collapsible parent bars.

  2. Set dates and dependencies

Give each task a start and a duration, then say which task it waits on. The chart draws the arrows and works out the finish date for you.

  3. Reschedule by dragging

When something slips, drag the bar. Everything downstream shifts with it and the new end date updates, no manual date arithmetic down the column.

Who it’s for

  • Halden 2.0 · Launch planPlan
    App build slipped a week
QA, press and launch moved with it

    Product launches

Sequence design, build, QA and go-to-market across a quarter, and see instantly what a two-week build delay does to launch day.

    Client projects

Share a read-only timeline link so clients can see progress without asking for a weekly status email.

  • Halden 2.0 · Launch planFit-out
    Plastering waits on electrics
Chain moved 3 days, handover held

    Construction and events

Long dependency chains with hard dates, where one slipped delivery moves everything behind it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Gantt chart template free?

Yes. Build and export a chart on the free plan. Paid plans add live share links, resource views and syncing with your project tools.

Can I import my existing task list?

Paste from a spreadsheet or a document and EverAsk maps the columns to task, owner, start and duration. You confirm the mapping before it builds.

Does it handle dependencies?

Yes: finish-to-start, start-to-start and lag. Shifting one task moves everything that depends on it, and the critical path re-highlights.

Can I export it to a deck or a PDF?

Both. Export PNG or PDF, or drop the live chart into a EverAsk presentation where it updates when the plan does.

Does it work for long projects?

Yes. Zoom between day, week, month and quarter views, a two-year plan stays readable at quarter level and drillable at day level.
