What does finding Instagram influencers involve?

Finding creators who post about your topic, then checking their followers are real people who pay attention.

Instagram has no search for creators by topic and size, and a big follower count can be bought. Most of the work is checking, one profile at a time.

Here you describe the creators you want and get a shortlist in a sheet, each one rated on their recent posts and checked for bought followers.

How it works

  1. Describe who you want

The topic, how many followers, the country or city, and anything to avoid. Plain words are enough: home fitness, 10K to 100K followers, UK only.

  2. It searches public profiles

EverAsk looks through public bios, hashtags and posts about the topic, keeps the accounts the right size, then rates each one on its last 12 posts.

  3. Get the shortlist

One row per creator: followers, likes and comments a post, engagement rate, whether the followers look real, and how to get in touch.

Looks real

Steady growth, and about 1 in 20 followers likes or comments.

Followers look bought

56,100 new followers in three months, but few of them like or comment.

The other sign is likes without comments: @hiitwithhana gets 4,620 likes a post but only 21 comments. The shortlist marks both.

What you get

You ask: “Home fitness creators with 10K to 100K followers, and their engagement.”

Eight close matches. Six look real, and @kettlebellkat does best, at 7.7%.

Two are marked: one nearly tripled its followers in three months, and one gets thousands of likes but almost no comments.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find Instagram influencers in my niche?

Search bios and hashtags for the topic, keep the accounts the size you want, then check how many people like and comment on their recent posts. Describe the niche and size here and the shortlist comes back with those checks done.

What counts as a micro influencer?

Usually 10,000 to 100,000 followers. Below 10,000 is often called nano, above 100,000 mid-tier. You can set your own range in the prompt.

How can I tell if an influencer has fake followers?

Watch for sudden follower jumps without a rise in likes or comments, an engagement rate far below accounts of the same size, and posts with many likes but almost no comments. The sheet checks each creator for these and says whether the followers look real.

Do I get influencers' contact details?

Only what a creator shows publicly, such as a business email in the bio or an agency named on the profile. Otherwise the sheet says to message them on Instagram.

Can I find influencers in a specific city?

Yes. Add the city or country to the prompt and the shortlist keeps creators who post from there, with the location in its own column.
